After throwing the form in rich black clay, she individually carves the design in each bowl, making it a uniquely textured work of art. Her own white glaze mix over the dark clay was inspired by the look of birch bark, and has a smooth touch. A warming homemade soup will be that much more delicious, served in this beautiful bowl.
