To make popcorn, place about a quarter cup of popcorn kernels into the bowl, add the lid and microwave on high. A tablespoon of oil or butter can be added, but it will add to the popping time. Depending on the power of your microwave, this could take 3 – 8 minutes. List for the pops – when it is 2 seconds or more between pops, remove from microwave. The bowl will be very warm, so have pot holders handy to remove the bowl.
