Birch Tree with Veneer Photo Frame
This frame is almost pretty enough on it’s own, without adding a photo, but it has been designed to hold a picture behind a piece of glass. The frame itself has been made with traditional stained glass technique…in a non-traditional way, sandwiching fabric and genuine wood veneer between two pieces of glass.
If that isn’t complicated enough, Christine also does her own silk screen printing on 100% flax linen fabric to create this pattern. The sturdy folding easel leg supports the frame. While the support allows for a vertical or horizontal picture, the birch tree design makes the most sense for portrait orientation. This frame packs flat for transport. The 4″ x 6″ frame is available with two tones of wood veneer, as pictured. The 5″ x 7″ frame will be very similar to this image.
